Daughters under the age of 18

Where the number of daughters under the age of 18 was recorded, most individual attendees had no daughters under the age of 18. The chart below shows the percentage of individual attendances by the number of daughters under the age of 18 and NHS commissioning region.

57% of total attendances have a known number of daughters under the age of 18 recorded. Regionally, this varies between 35% and 88%.


Daughters born at this attendance

Where whether a daughter was born at the attendance was recorded, most total attendances had no daughters born at the attendance. The chart below shows the percentage of total attendances by whether a daughter was born at the attendance and NHS commissioning region.

Only 27% of total attendances have a known record of if a daughter was born at the attendance or not. Regionally, this varies between 6% and 83%.

Where it was recorded, at most attendances the woman or girl was advised of the health implications of FGM. The chart below shows the percentage of total attendances by whether the woman or girl was advised of the health implications of FGM and NHS commissioning region.

Where it was recorded, at most attendances the woman or girl was advised of the illegalities of FGM. The chart below shows the percentage of total attendances by whether the woman or girl was advised of the illegalities of FGM and NHS commissioning region.
