Phase 4: Post go-live
During this phase the changing organisation needs to ensure all their systems are migrated and ready for operational closure dates to be applied to predecessor ODS codes.
ODS signpost and monitor progress.
Timescales: 6 months after the new legal start date.
Expectations
During this phase the changing organisation is expected to:
- monitor systems to detect issues early and address them promptly
- complete the migration of your systems that contain old information
- complete this migratory work within 6 months from the legal date
During this phase we will operationally close predecessor (old) organisation information, once we have confirmation that this can happen.

Note: In exceptional circumstances, the 6 month window of the operational closure date may be extended. A business justification for ODS review would need to be submitted by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Senior Authorised Officer of the dissolved organisation(s).
