Amendment to Section 7, Women at very high risk; Cancer detection rates, by risk category

The label "Equivalent risk, Not tested" in this table has been amended to "Untested gene / Equivalent risk", the 2024-25 rates now include both "BRCA untested" and "not tested", previously they only included women under the "not tested" category.

19,291 women had cancers detected through screening (aged 45+)

9.0 cases per 1,000 women screened in 2024-25. This compares to 16,677 cancers detected in 2023-24 (a rate of 8.5 per 1,000 screened in 2023-24).
