We have provided monthly figures from January 2024 to December 2025, including annual totals.
The figures include all messages sent via the NHS App, including push notifications. The figures include messages with the following delivery statuses:
- Completed – the message was successfully sent, but may not necessarily have been read.
- Indefinite – the message request was rejected, or the message was sent to an account that later became inactive (for example, due to an email address change).
- No target found – the notification was sent to an invalid or unrecognised user account, but the message was delivered.
