Data from the Assuring Transformation (AT) collection is published as Learning Disability Services Statistics. Table 5.2 in the publication tables presents the number of adults originating from each Integrated Care Board (ICB) area who are in hospital at the end of the reporting period, and the rate of adult inpatients by the ICB's adult resident population.
An error was identified affecting the rates in historic publications between the October 2023 and June 2025 reporting periods, where incorrect population figures were used to calculate rates.
The affected data has been redacted from Table 5.2 in each of the affected publications.
Additionally, the table available below presents the number of inpatients for the year end reporting points of 31 March 2024 and 31 March 2025, and the revised inpatient rate calculated using ONS mid-year population estimates for 2017, which is consistent with the method used for calculating rates for planning and performance.
