ODS Data Search and Export
As previously advised, ODS Data Search and Export (DSE) has replaced the legacy CSV data downloads.
To assist users with migrating to the new DSE reports, the data download webpages have been left in place, with updated links directly to an automated download of the equivalent DSE predefined report. The report will download as a single CSV file. The ODS Reference Data Catalogue (RDC) link will provide the report specification, which will confirm column headers, data definitions and explain any differences between the legacy CSV version and the DSE predefined report.
DSE predefined reports are dynamic - the source data updates nightly. ODS have moved away from ‘snapshot’ full files produced on a monthly/quarterly basis, and we will no longer publish amendment-only files. Users can create their own amendment files using the ‘Show results with updates’ parameter, available when running predefined reports in DSE. It's also possible to automate the download of multiple reports (packs) using the DSE API endpoint. Please refer to DSE ‘Help and guidance’ for further information.

The coding of Branch Surgeries and Primary Care Networks is not the responsibility of the NHS PS, queries regarding these should be directed to the Organisation Data Service Helpdesk.
