Future changes planned and past changes delivered for Eligibility Data Product (EliD).

Strategy

The Eligibility Signposting API is our strategic API for accessing vaccination eligibility data.

Our strategy is:

Expand to support eligibility for different S7a vaccinations.
Expand to support a number of consumers who need quality vaccination eligibility data.
Expand to support other services requiring eligibility and signposting information for example screening and prevention services.
Expand to offer further levels of localisation and personalisation data to better improve citizen journeys and experience.

The EliD roadmap outlines the high-level objectives and projects we are researching or planning to deliver in the coming months.

The roadmap was last reviewed by the team in December 2025.

Go live and support My Vaccines throughout the private beta by providing individualised RSV vaccination eligibility and next best action data available via the NHS App

Expand our service offering by creating and suppling individualised Covid and Flu vaccination eligibility and next best action data.

Integrate with vaccination National Booking Service to offer a bespoke experience

Continue to support community pharmacy expansion policy. For example by supporting young adults and providers to determine eligibility for catch-up of school-aged vaccinations
