Change your smartcard passcode

How to change your smartcard passcode in Care Identity Management.

Note: if you have forgotten your passcode you will need to use self-service smartcard unlock instead.

To change your passcode, put your smartcard into the reader and log in to Care Identity Management.

On the Care Identity Management start screen, select the 'Change smartcard passcode' option.

Enter your new passcode into both boxes and select 'Confirm'.

You'll now see a message confirming that you've set a new passcode.
