Accessing the e-RS application
How to access the e-Referral Service application part of the environment management team guide to creating referrals in Path to Live e-RS.
Arrange referral
In order to create a referral the selected patient must be registered as a patient at the referring organisation in PDS - that is, the ‘GP Practice’ code stored against the patient in PDS must match the ‘GP Practice’ code of the referring clinician creating the referral in e-RS.
Arrange appointment (direct booking)
To amend an existing referral, log into e-RS as the referring clinician at the relevant organisation and enter the NHS number of the patient and search.
