This is the first annual report from the Lung Cancer Audit (LUCADA).
The National Lung Cancer Audit began with a small group of early users in England in January 2004. After this initial testing phase the audit was opened up to all hospitals in England with steadily increased levels of participation throughout the rest of 2004 and 2005. This first annual report presents the findings collected on registrations with a date first seen during 2005. It includes data on levels of participation, data quality and completeness and a basic analysis of the demographic data. The report also includes some data from the parallel Welsh Lung Cancer Audit.
