Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) has released details of an abnormal failure rate issue affecting a number of their enterprise Apollo, ProLiant, StoreVirtual, and Synergy Serial-Attached SCSI solid-state drives (SCSI-SSD).

Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) has released details of an abnormal failure rate issue affecting a number of their enterprise Apollo, ProLiant, StoreVirtual, and Synergy Serial-Attached SCSI solid-state drives (SCSI-SSD).


Threat details

The affected products will fail after exactly 32,768 hours (approximately 3 years, 270 days) of operation, and will be completely unrecoverable once this failure has occurred.
