A new banking trojan named Karius has been identified. It appears to use code from more well-known banking trojans such as Ramnit and Trickbot.

Threat details

Karius consists of three individual modules and is delivered by the RiG exploit kit. Once installed on a device it will display extra form fields on specific websites (primarily financial sites) in an attempt to collect user information when they log in. This information is then sent to a command and control server.
