About
Overview: Child Protection Domain Message Specification
The messages defined in the Child Protection Domain Message Specification have schemas produced by a new version of the HSCIC ITS.This results in fixed values used within the message models being prohibited in the schema. Therefore fixed values are not sent in the "on the wire" instance. Where removal of fixed values results in an empty tag, and the empty tag does not have any child elements nested within it, the empty tag will be prohibited in the schema and the tag does not appear in the "on the wire" instance.
The Child Protection Domain Message Specification supports the following care communications:
- CP-IS Local Authority Upload
- CP-IS Local Authority Acknowledgement Response
- CP-IS NHS Query
- CP-IS NHS Query Response
- CP-IS Access to Service Notification
- CP-IS Inactive NHS Number Notification
The associated specification tab contains additional artefacts required to instantiate the Child Protection message specification.
