A constrained ELEMENT to represent the tags or labels that can be assigned to a problem and/or issue. These components do not convey clinical meanings such as findings or procedures. Their primary use is to categorise record components into common headings to enable reuse and retrieval. E.g. a branch of models concerned with a specific problem can be categorised as an observation which may be a presenting complaint. The meaning of the problem observation and its associated elements will remain unchanged irrespective of the problem tag used. However, the context in which the information is to be consumed may change depending on the tag used to label the problem and/or observation. NOTE: There is only one temporary SNOMED CT expression for the ProblemAndIssue Tag due to limited requirements but may expand and further requirements are received.
