ENTRY Domain Model: BodyHeight

An ENTRY containing a collection of data items required to represent the standing body height of the subject of the record. Comprises a single coded Standing Body Height Observation and optionally may contain:

  • a textual description of the event
  • a coded representation of the standing body height measurement procedure
  • any coded representations of findings or observations that are relevant to this standing body height observation.
The default measurement method for standing body height shall be with the subject's shoes removed and is measured in metres to 2 decimal places3. This ENTRY shall not be used for any other measurements of length or distance1,3. Incorporates requirements from the following sources:
  • NPfIT MIM 7.2.02 Height template (COCD_TP146015UK04)
  • Section 4 of NPFIT-NCR-DES-0422.06 Representation of Commonly Used Concepts in the Care Record
  • Body Height Detailed Clinical Model (DCM) v0.91

policy_ids II 0..* This attribute identifies one or more access control policies that specifically pertain to this RECORD_COMPONENT and which need to be communicated to the EHR Recipient to govern future access to it. The identifiers may refer to policy information included in this EHR_EXTRACT as defined in EN 13606-4:2007, or to policies held in external policy servers to which the EHR Recipient has access.
uncertainty_expressed BL 1..1 This attribute is set to TRUE to advise the EHR Recipient that this ENTRY contains data that indicates some degree of uncertainty, and that care should be taken when using these data within automated processes and systems.
