- NewBornPhysicalExamination template COCD_TP146004GB02
- Redesigned and up-versioned the NewBornPhysicalExamination template to support capability for easier future extension as more tests become required.
- This allows for terminologies in addition to UK NSC national primary code set to be used e.g. SNOMED CT (provided they have a mapping to UK NSC national codes).
- Relaxed the Examination.value extensibility qualifier coding strength to coded with extensions which will allow SNOMED CT concepts to be sent as primary codes once all systems are mature enough to support SNOMED CT.

- BloodSpotScreening Vocabulary Changes
- The NewbornBloodSpotScreeningResultStatus v1.0 vocabulary replaces NewbornBloodSpotScreeningResultStatusSnCT v1.0 vocabulary (subset ID, 61081000000135) as primary codesystem. Whilst subset ID, 61081000000135, has been defined in the most recent release of SNOMED CT, it has however been removed from this DMS.
- The BSScreeningStatusSubCodes vocabulary replaces NewbornBloodSpotScreeningResultSubstatusSnCT v1.0 vocabulary (subset ID, 61091000000138) as primary codesystem. Whilst subset ID, 61091000000138, has been defined in the most recent release of SNOMED CT, it has however been removed from this DMS.

- The configuration profile, urn:nhs-en:profile:ChildScreening-v3-0, has been upversioned to reflect the above changes.

- NewBornHearingScreening template COCD_TP146003GB02
- The NewBornHearingScreening template COCD_TP146003GB02 has been redesigned and upversioned to support audiology screening test date/time, and the Audiology Test Finding class has been removed.
- The previous version of the template, COCD_TP146003GB01, has been removed.
- BloodSpotScreening template COCD_TP146005GB03
- The BloodSpotScreening template COCD_TP146005GB03 has been redesigned and upversioned to support capability for future easier extension as more tests become available. This allows for terminologies in addition to SNOMED CT to be used (provided they have a mapping to SNOMED CT).
- The older version of the template, COCD_TP146005GB01, has been removed.
- The NHS CDA schema, POCD_MT000002UK01.xsd has been updated to align closer with the CDA balloted schemas, where the added NHS extentions of patient id status, deceased ind, deceasedTime, multipleBirthInd and multipleBirthOrderNumber are included.
- The XML instance example, POCD_EX010000GB01_02.xml reflects that terminologies in addition to SNOMED CT are available in the BloodSpotScreening template COCD_TP146005GB03, and includes the NewBornHearingScreening COCD_TP146003GB02 amendments.
- The rendered example, POCD_EX010000GB01_02.htm supports changes to both the BloodSpotScreening template (COCD_TP146005GB03) and the NewBornHearingScreening template (COCD_TP146003GB02).

- The NewBornHearingScreeningOutcomeSnCT v2.0 vocabulary has values now published in the SNOMED CT subset with Original ID 52731000000135.

- The core schemas have been changed to align closer to CDA ballot 2005. This change was to resolve historical data type issues.
